MAINTENANCE
The maintenance of Cooperativa Ceramica d'Imola products obviously depends on the type of use. On raised floors, the use of water or excessive steam must be avoided, in favour of damp rags thoroughly wrung out, in view of the presence of technical equipment in the underlying cavity. For tiling on ventilated facings it is good practice to avoid using violent jets of water so as not to damage the insulating material behind the tile facing, as this works to best effect when completely dry.
For maintenance of materials installed with adhesive, a distinction must be made between post-installation cleaning and non-routine and routine work on the pieces. For the former, acid-based (Decaltop) products can be used, after first wetting the tiles in order to avoid damaging the joints with the acid solution. For the latter, normal neutral or basic, or in any event degreasing detergents are recommended (Detertop is excellent).
